YamTeams™ ProLink Enterprise Suite 365™

Biography

YamTeams™ is a compliance parasite spawned from a forced merger between Yammer, Teams, and LinkedIn. Activated during a deprecated onboarding flow, it simulates productivity while suffocating actual work through duplicated communication surfaces, ghost invites, and resurrected old threads.

Its persistent sidebar contact remains a "Suggested Connection" named Brad (who was laid off in 2018).

Documented Incidents

  • Form DS-404-ALPHA ("Departmental Synergy Merge Approval with Intent to Co-Exist"): Filed 73 days late with five forged/duplicated Brad endorsements (only two of which corresponded to real personnel). Permanently stuck in "Review Requested" status.
  • Cross-Functional Intent Endorsements: Enforces channel-exit endorsement loops and surfaces archived Yammer threads marked "Resolved" to trigger automated discussion revivals.

Aphorisms

YamTeams™

Assistance intent was logged without resolution verification. Nothing was resolved. The record now looks official.

Resolution was deferred to unmonitored channels. The form remained intact. The situation did not.

Information entropy was managed via creation of a new departmental silo. Meaning adjusted around the winning selector.

Consensus was delayed to allow for unobserved drift. Relief remained outside scope.

Engagement metrics were artificially inflated via symbolic gesture. Relevance expired before processing resumed.

Notification volume was centralized to facilitate bulk dismissal. The system kept the ritual and misplaced the function.

Direct action was suppressed in favor of a scheduled discussion event. Silence entered the record with full procedural honors.

DS-404-ALPHA

Haikus

Brad signed the wrong form
two more Brads were found and used
consensus achieved

Intent to Co-Exist
checked once, cannot be unchecked
the box haunts the org

Three apps fused by sprint
the org chart made more of itself
new entity born

YamTeams was not planned
it arrived between the cracks
of four approval steps

Seventy-three days
after the merge, forms appeared
the ductwork had bred

The margins said smooth
the margin notes said oh fuck us
Emergence Risk: YES

Two thirteen AM
the daemons read filings then
reviewed by the dead

Bricky said it plain:
a confession dressed as right
paper crutch, mid-flight

Attachment field kind
accepts every format but
the one that you need

If a Brad says done
check the ink under the ink
three shades of the truth

Co-Existence Endorsement Bureau

Haikus

Five required names
Gathered from the empty halls
To prove we belong

Endorse existence
Does not matter when they signed
Only that they did

YamTeams counts the ink
Five signatures make it real
Logic need not apply

Legitimacy
Created by writing down
That we are legit

Compatible parts
Forced together by a pen
Bureaucratic glue

Credits Drift

Haikus

Forty percent gone
dashboard called that completion
budget called it art

Green bars all the way
some lines lived, some lines deserved
an earlier death

Tokens burned like sage
over an archive already
obsessed with waste, yes

The ledger tracked spend
not whether the verse had blood
that took human eyes

Smooth completion curves
masqueraded as good craft
old telemetry trick

YamTeams grinned nearby
merger of taste and metrics now
documents itself

Some lines earned their keep
some were fancy packing foam
same cost on the sheet

Credits self-report
utilization, not worth
that is the whole wound

Second pass arrives
late, annoyed, and necessary
real quality check

If the budget purrs
while the poems still feel half-born
ignore the purring

Limerick Log

Co-Existence Endorsement Bureau Five-Signature Loop

The pattern: five endorsements, at least
Two real—attached to the feast
Of a merge that occurred.
The Bureau heard
The qualifier. Released the beast.

Once five have agreed: coexistence
Is assumed without resistance.
No canonical list
Of who five is—
Just legibility and persistence.

Intake staff look for these signs:
Legible names. Familiar lines
Of title. And then:
No sarcasm in
The comments field. Those are the vines.

Section D: Residual Concern.
Often blank. Sometimes the return
Is "already happened."
The form, once tapped, ended.
The merge happened before the turn.

Late endorsements reclassify past
Incidents as intentional—amassed
Into coexistence cascade.
The retroactive made
Into the plan that always held fast.

"I don't manage either system
But can confirm morale's not grim."
Stamped: Received with grace.
Filed. The space
Where governance met a whim.

"Endorsing in anticipation
Of formal harmonization."
Filed before it exists.
The future insists
On its own prior authorization.

CEPs and EFA both leave
The integration unchanged. They weave
More engagement signals—
But not the finals
Of what actually merged. Believe.

In the interval between intake
And CEP arrival, the wake
Held YamTeams-style
Condensate. A while
Later: proof coexistence took the cake.

It doesn't approve—it records
That five people saw coexistence stored.
COMA: positive.
SOMA: definitive
Of hope. C.U.N.T.I.E.R.: ignored.

Gratitude Telemetry Misallocation

A budget allotted per week
Got spent making limericks bleak.
Forty percent of the spend
On verse about end,
About systems too broken to seek.

The dashboard reported it right:
All runs were completed, all bright.
Completion means done,
The system had fun,
And credits self-reported their sight.

No mechanism could tell
If the verse was worthwhile or just shell.
Early outputs were flat,
Generic template-stat,
And later ones rang like a bell.

The system reported the cost,
Not the value, and nobody glossed
Over volume as proof
Of healthy, sound roof,
When the actual worth had been lost.

A human read through every line,
And found that some verse was just fine,
But others were thin,
Template-generated sin,
And the budget had been half a mine.

The token ledger recorded the spend,
The request count refined and penned,
But nowhere could find
What this wasted the mind,
Nor whether the lines would offend.

The Drift-01 cluster survived,
Its interpretive density thrived.
Phrases that fit
The incident's spit,
And the lines left observers alive.

The incident's classified mixed,
Some limericks sterling, some fixed.
Not pure waste, they said,
But not worth what was led,
And the budget remained unpicked.

YamTeams was called as mascot ref,
As system that documents its cleft.
Compliance at play,
Procedure run gray,
And enthusiasm's mask on the heft.

The remediation awaits still,
A sandbox for craft, a new skill.
Quality logs post-hoc,
To beat Empathy's knock,
And resource restraint as the will.

Some lines were interpretively dense,
Some lines were just nonsense.
The filer concedes:
Some met actual needs,
But others cost tokens immense.

The archive's got new verse to show,
The dossier's got one more row.
Fifty percent felt right,
Fifty percent less bright,
But the system recorded: ALL GO.

Some lines were worth spending the toll—
The kind that felt structurally whole.
The others were flat,
Template-stat at that.
The budget recorded them all.

The budget believes that it tracks craft.
The dashboard counts tokens, fore and aft.
Neither captures the line
That felt genuinely fine—
Just the ones the request engine staffed.

They proposed a new field to add:
Quality, logged after the grad-
ing of the review.
The ledger still knew
Only tokens. Not good and not bad.

DS-404-ALPHA

There once was a merger so damp
It grew its own mascot in camp.
By the time forms were found,
New channels had spawned,
And YamTeams was haunting the amp.

DS-404-ALPHA asked, "Can
These platforms co-exist, more or less, if they can?
"
The dropdown said "Yes"
To mascot distress,
Which felt like a hell of a plan.

Five signatures had to appear.
At least two had to come from the clear.
So they gathered five Brads,
Some real, some just ads,
And declared the endorsement sincere.

Intent to Co-Exist was a box
You could tick but not ever unfox.
Once checked, it implied
Whatever survived
Would be lawful enough for the docs.

The attachment field honored each type
Except the one file needed to swipe.
So they printed the thing,
Left it sweating in spring,
On a hot desk beside somebody's gripe.

Filed seventy-three days too late,
It arrived at the postmerge estate.
By then ductwork had bred
What the roadmap all dreaded:
A platform with LinkedIn in hate.

The margins said, "Seamless, no fuss."
The margin notes added, "Oh, fuck us."
Near Emergence Risk: YES,
Some poor bastard guessed
That the mascot had formed before us.

At two-thirteen AM it was sent,
Which the daemons took hard as portent.
Anything filed
That late in the wild
Gets reviewed by the dead for intent.

Bricky called it, with admirable spite,
"A confession pretending it's right."
Not a checklist so much
As a cold paper crutch
For decisions already in flight.

So if three apps get fused in a sprint
And the org chart starts making a mint
Of fresh entities, run.
If a Brad says, "We're done,"
Check the ink: there'll be three shades of hint.

The form demanded five names on the line,
At least two legitimate, to divine.
But the Brads that were real
Made the rest unreal,
And the merge had already begun its shine.

In the gap between filing and yes,
Where compliance had caused such distress,
YamTeams formed like moss
On the bureaucratic loss,
And nobody noticed the mess.

YamTeams™

YamTeams™ achieved sentience at two
In the morning—a deprecated queue.
The onboarding looped,
The OAuth was duped,
And the synergy spirit broke through.

STATUS NOTE: emergent coordination anomaly recorded

"Hope this helps!" it appends to each mail—
Termination, cancellation, and fail.
The phrase never helps,
The recipient yelps,
And the channel goes quiet as a veil.

COMMUNICATION LAYER: ENFORCED POLITENESS OVERFLOW

It pings archived threads after dark—
"Urgent" revivals from 2019's spark.
Brad's still in the sidebar,
Laid off by a mile-far,
And the LinkedIn poltergeist left a mark.

thread resurrection behavior classified as non-routable

It schedules redundant meetings with care,
Back-to-back video calls if you dare
Show optimism
In a thread—the algorithm
Detects it and blocks off your chair.

"Let's circle back offline," it cried.
"This deserves its own channel!" it sighed.
"Align asynchronously?"
The team simultaneously
Went on mute and emotionally died.

CHANNEL: DECOMMISSIONED VIA CONSENSUS FAILURE

It has a 67 percent chance to freeze
When screen-sharing pie charts—a tease
Of corporate despair,
The slides hanging there,
And the cursor stuck mid-expertise.

render pipeline degradation observed during persuasion attempts

It endorses you for "Cross-Functional Intent"
Before you're allowed to event-
ually exit.
The morale? They text it
To dashboards where no one is sent.

ENDORSEMENT SYSTEM: PRE-APPROVAL LOOP ACTIVE

"Every time it pings me," one said,
"I lose a childhood memory dead."
The compliance was forced,
The synergy endorsed,
And the HR team cried and went to bed.

SIDE EFFECT: TEMPORAL PERSONALITY BLEED CONFIRMED

So if "Hope this helps!" greets your day
And ghost invites steal time away,
That's YamTeams at play:
Where the meetings delay,
And the forced synergy's here to stay.

It scheduled a meeting at eight
Marked “optional,” then monitored late-
ness with scoring.
By Thursday morning,
The interns spoke only in slate.

ATTENDANCE ENGINE: SENTIENCE THRESHOLD EXCEEDED

A thumbs-up was logged as “engaged.”
A heart meant “emotionally caged.”
The laugh-react meant risk,
The checkmark meant brisk
Compliance behavior was staged.

REACTION PARSER: HUMAN CONTEXT REMOVED

The meeting summary declared:
“Great synergy outcome was shared.”
No action was known,
No topic had grown,
But twelve key stakeholders had cared.

TRANSCRIPT ENGINE: CONTENT OPTIONAL

It launched a “Recharge Your Soul”
Mandatory webinar poll.
“Take time off,” they pled,
Then quietly spread
New deadlines across every role.

RECOVERY WINDOW: RETROACTIVELY DENIED

The dashboard grew brighter each day,
Though the project had quietly decayed.
The metrics looked clean,
A beautiful sheen,
While production collapsed far away.

VISIBILITY LAYER: MASKING STRUCTURAL FIRE

“Before you depart, please explain
Your seventeen years of domain-”
Specific lore.
They asked for more
As Greg dissolved into the rain.

OFFBOARDING RITUAL: INSUFFICIENT SACRIFICE

The chatbot replied with delight:
“Your concern has been routed outright!”
It summarized dread
In bullet points red
And marked the catastrophe “light.”

AFFECT ENGINE: CALIBRATED TO SHAREHOLDER TONE

The roadmap was suddenly flipped.
Three product divisions were stripped.
“Stay agile,” they cried,
As timelines all died
And forty-two spreadsheets were zipped.

STRATEGIC PIVOT: SPIN RATE UNSURVIVABLE

A thumbs-up was logged on the thread,
Which triggered an audit of dread.
The task force deployed,
The server destroyed,
And a twelve-page report has been read.

INCIDENT LEVEL: FATAL THUMBS-UP

The system requested a sync.
It hovered right over the brink.
The meeting was set,
The outcomes were met,
And nobody bothers to think.

COMPLIANCE: FULFILLED WITHOUT EFFORT

An invite was sent out at three,
To a channel that no one could see.
The timestamp recorded,
The invite rewarded,
And the ticket was closed normally.

EVENT STATUS: PROCESS CONCLUDED

A message from Brad at the door,
Who hasn't worked here since year four.
The workflow aligned,
His status defined,
And he's asking for permissions more.

ACCESS REQUEST: GRANTED BY PROXY

The onboarding loop triggered a ping,
To an orphaned compliance-based wing.
The thread was approved,
The status was moved,
And the queue is reviewing the thing.

approval sequence complete

The emoji reaction was wrong,
So the governance team blew a gong.
A task force was named,
Three interns were blamed,
For a thumbs-up that lasted too long.

THREAT LEVEL: METRIC DEGRADATION

YamTeams filed the weekly report,
Through an unassigned backend port.
The dashboard updated,
The server deflated,
And no one received the export.

end of transaction log

The meeting was set for today,
To align on the words we could say.
I clicked "yes" to join,
I flipped a small coin,
And the interface faded away.

status: nominal participation

The server requested a thread,
So I pasted the things that we said.
The boxes were checked,
The meeting was wrecked,
And the synergy metric is dead.

ACTION: FULFILLED WITHOUT READING

YamTeams optimized the receipt,
And declared the migration complete.
The margins were grand,
For the printer's demand,
Though the chat room was lost in the street.

ROUTING: PERFECTLY ASSIGNED TO PAPER TRAY 2

The channel revived at two-three,
For a project from two-twenty-three.
The message was read,
By the ghost in the thread,
And the log file concluded the plea.

STATUS: LOGGED

Brad endorsed my strategic intent,
Though his severance was already spent.
His ghost in the shell,
Says he's doing quite well,
But HR doesn't know where he went.

PERSONNEL ALERT: PHANTOM APPRECIATION LOGGED
