He was offered the ground-level view once, during calibration. He held the printout politely and without unfolding it, the way one holds a document one has already decided not to need.

This layer preserves upstream consultant-delivered structure fragments associated with KPI Koala’s proto-specification.

It represents pre-stabilization identity drift.

The drift is visible in the straps. Early renders show the spreadsheets arranged across his back in the position a joey would occupy. The arrangement survived into the stabilized specification. The reason for it did not.

Behavioral Residue

• His asset package includes eucalyptus imagery; in deployment he has never been rendered eating. The leaves, where they appear, are printed on the chart stock he is clinging to.
• His sleep intervals are logged inside green bands only. QA once forced a render into a red band: he remained awake for the duration of the test and required a patch afterward. The patch note reads 'sleep posture: conditional.'
• At triad reviews his panel sits above Serotonin Sam's and beside Slidey the Deckworm's feed. When his aggregate and Sam's smoothing diverge, the minutes adopt his view. He has never been observed looking down at the smoothing. Sam has never asked him to.
• The small tie is replaced quarterly. No requisition exists in the record. It is always the same tie.
• His attributed utterance is preserved from a calibration session: asked whether he ever verifies the rows beneath the bands, he answered, 'Below me is where the questions live.' The answer was accepted and minuted. The calibration was not repeated.
